Choosing to have your wedding in a different location from your home is extremely exciting, yet can also be somewhat daunting planning a wedding from far away. You've made a great decision, so let the planning begin!
One of the big things you will have to consider when planning your destination wedding, is choosing your photographer. I'm here to help make this experience as smooth as possible!
I am based on the island of Barbados, but have travelled to document weddings as close as Mustique, a private island in St. Vincent and the Grenadines, all the way to Italy. No matter where I am, I document each and every wedding with the most important thing in mind - your unique story.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Are we responsible for booking your flights, hotel and transportation?
This is a great question! I do all of the bookings for myself and my second photographer and you will reimburse the costs of the flights, hotels and transportation.
But we'd really prefer to use our points to book everything for you!
I completely understand! However, I have run into many difficulties in the past with airfare and hotel changes because my name and credit card were not used to make the reservations. We certainly don't want to have problems getting to your wedding day!
Do we need to organize a work visa/permit in our destination country for you?
We will work together to ensure that we are able to photograph your wedding legally in the destination country. I know photographers who have been fined, turned back at the airport or denied future entry to countries because they did not have the proper documentation to work in the country. Any work visa/permit related cost will be paid for by the client.
We actually don't need a second photographer - can you come alone?
To ensure the best coverage for your wedding, I always photograph destination weddings with my second photographer.
We know a photographer in the country where we're getting married, can you work with them instead of bringing your second photographer?
When working with a second photographer, I will only work with those who I know and trust to deliver images and customer service you are hiring me for. Unfortunately, I cannot work with a photographer I do not know.
I would love for you to cover our rehearsal dinner! Can you do this?
I absolutely love covering events along with the wedding for destination weddings. I've covered beach lunches, family mixers and so much more both before and after the wedding. Once you know what events you would like documented, shoot me an email and I can provide a quote for additional photography coverage.
Can you travel in the day of the wedding?
There are a litany of reasons why I do not travel the same day as your wedding. Air travel is not 100% reliable, time for connecting flight delays has to be considered, canceled flights etc. I also prefer to scout your wedding ceremony site and reception venue prior to the wedding as well as meet the wedding creative team. For destination weddings in the Caribbean, I travel in the day before the wedding. For destination weddings anywhere else, I prefer to arrive two days before the wedding and leave the day after.
