We went to support my niece at her rugby match. All I can say, is wow - those girls are tough. Girls, unfortunately, are taught to run away from confrontation, to not start problems, to stay quiet, to be the opposite of strong.
Run away from confrontation? In rugby? Oh no.
My niece tackled someone, and whilst on the ground was stepped on in her face. By a girl with cleats. She put some ice on it, and asked the coach to get back in the game. He gave her 5 minutes to catch herself, and then gave her the signal to go back. I don't know how they do it.
These girls are somethin' else.
Continue the circle and check out my beautiful friend, Sonja, of Sonja Stich Fotografi in Barcelona to see her fabulous 30 minutes of foam craziness here .
